I Want To Get A Laptop To Play. I Dont Know Much About Laptops. What Specifications Should I Look For To Get A Good Reliable System That Wont Let Me Down In The Middle Of A Tournament.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400, with wireless internet. Great laptop, hasn't let me down once yet, the only thing is it cost me $1400 (CDN).

Thanks For The Info!!

No problem, if you live in the states you'll have to go to "Dell.com" but if you live in Canada "Dell.ca" as they won't ship to other countries.

Go for the biggest monitor size you can get/afford. You want something with a resolution of 1600x1200 if you want to 4-table without overlap.
Also, I'd get a laptop that has the hookup to plug in an actual external monitor.. Will come in handy if you ever just want a bigger monitor without buying a whole new laptop/pc..

I think most of the laptops on the market now will be fine. 15" is the stardard nowadays but you can definitely get a 17" if it's not too heavy. If you like to play on a patio like I do, be sure get a screen that works well under sunlight. If you have budget get a laptop with battery that last at least 4,5 hours, it's just a pain to carry to power cables around. Also get a good wireless mouse, you don't want to play with the mouse pad. ;)
