View Thread : odds calculator

pwnstr
greetings all.

I play at pacific poker and was wondering if anybody can recomend a odds calculator that works with it .any ideas thnx.pwnstr

bumlife
try PokerOffice ;)

I agree with bumlife. With Poker Office you'll get a lot more than an odds calculator. It'll keep track of how much you make, how many hands you've played, most profitable positions, etc. It also comes with a built in tracker that displays statistics on your opponents in real time.

thnx people ill check it out

ive heard poker tracker is good. Is poker office better?

I don't know which is better, but I recently got poker office for free after playing a Titan for a short time. Anyhow, that thing keeps dones of stats and looks fairly easy to navigate and use. Can't beat free!

I prefer Poker Office, mainly because it's more user friendly, has everything built into it (no need to get add-ons) and it's also updated more often.

bumlife
i think tha poker office is the best calculator

Well, Poker Tracker doesn't calculate odds so that's not really an alternative for the original poster. :)

Can't say which one is best since I've only used Poker Office, but I'm really happy with how Poker Office has been working so far.

Do you need to purchase it or is there a promotional deposit required to get a copy?

Poker Office had some promotional offers at their website the last time I checked.

Final note, if you want to track your players and have statistics its pokeroffice or pokertracker.

However, if you want Pot Equity (win % probability), simulated on the flop, turn, and calculated on the river, you will need another porgram.
Try this: pokersniffer.org (holdem and omaha)

good luck ..

Hi Pwnstr
I recommend you to use the odds calculator widget at pokernews (http://www.pokernews.com) ,
you can find it at the popular links side bar at the homepage.

another tool i know is at cardplayer (http://www.cardplayer.com/tools_tips)

try both of them and decide which is better for you
