Has anyone heard of the pirate poker system selling on the internet. it claims it can help figure your pot odds quickly right on your screen, to help make you a winner. Is this a scam?

Never heard of this one, there are plenty of tracker software out there. SOme are better than others. I think there is a site that does it for free, Bobby C knows what it is he likely can lead you in the right direction.

What is the best way to become good at calculating the odds. Is there a good place to go and learn the best way to learn how to calculate pot odds? Maybe a good book to get? I am far from a math wiz!

I think the best way is to come back to your hand history and analyze it. Perhaps, read an article about it first or try an online poker school. And after youīve done all that, come back to the forum and post your questions, hopefully not with the "bad beats" post title :)

I agree, however there alot of people the learn more from hands on than from books. I know I have read both the books you mention, however I spent ALOT of time re-reading chapter and I am forever going back to them for reference..
